About: Every Wednesday, a bagpipe tribute is offered to honor everyone who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks and also those who remain sick or have died of illness due to the aftermath of the attacks.

20th Anniversary Commemoration
About: This is the yearly anniversary commemoration held at the 9/11 Memorial Museum, including the events ‘Citywide Commemoration’ and ‘Tribute in Light’. The Citywide Commemoration shows the city’s compassion towards the deceased and the survivors of the terror attacks, and the Tribute in Light is offered by lighting up the xenon light bulbs to form a skylight in the shape of the Twin Towers.

Rebuilding After 9/11: How the Fire Department of New York Was Forever Changed
About: In the aftermath of the terrible 9/11 attacks, the New York Fire Department lost 343 members in active duty, including most of its leadership. Not only did the FDNY have to rebuild their workforce, but also care for the grieving families that suffered losses in the 9/11 attacks. This event reflects on the history of the FDNY, depicting the stories of New York’s Bravest.
