The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, have left a deep scar in the city of New York, and many residents are still suffering from their implications. The National September 11 Memorial & Museum, better known as the 9/11 Memorial Museum is a tribute to all the people who were affected by these devastating attacks. The 9/11 Museum conducts yearly and special events to commemorate the losses everyone suffered. By being a part of these events, you get to pay your respects and strengthen the hope in humanity.

About: Every Wednesday, a bagpipe tribute is offered to honor everyone who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks and also those who remain sick or have died of illness due to the aftermath of the attacks.

12th Annual 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K
About: This annual 5K, presented by RXR, is a meaningful event in lower Manhattan. Participants walk or run a path inspired by the one first responders took on 9/11 and in its aftermath. The event supports the Museum & Memorial mission and helps ensure future generations never forget the legacy and lessons of 9/11.
